We are renting points and are staying at the Polynesian for 3 nights and Boardwalk Villas for 4 nights. When we check out of the Poly and into the Boardwalk what happens to our unused credits? I want to check in but won't use my last TS credits from the Poly until dinner that night.

I am planning something similar - 2 nights at Poly and 5 nights at BWV. From what I understand on the day you switch over you will have access to both old credits and new credits. From what I also understand, the system will automatically deduct from old credits before deducting from new credits.

But also from what I have read, it is preferable if you can use up your old credits before checking into new resort and can just avoid this. I'm trying to figure it out myself so hoping someone will either confirm or deny my understanding. I'm also unsure how this works when you check in online... do all of your credits just appear at a certain time of day or do you have to physically check in at the resort?

Good Question!

We did this a couple years ago. It worked out just fine. We did stop by the front desk on the way back in that night and had them pull the credits so we could review them and make sure they were correct. The credits were not correct but was fixed in a snap. Even our last trip we had issues and it was fixed without out problems. If you don't want to check in till later you can always have the hotel hold your items while you enjoy the parks.

Just be aware that you CANNOT combine credits from stay one and stay two to "pay" for a 2 credit meal. You will need to have 2 credits from the same stay to do that.
