Split stay and dining plan

Suppose you have linked reservations using points for part and cash for part, at the same resort. Can you get the dining plan just for one part of the reservation but not for the other? So, suppose first five nights on points, two nights on cash. Can you just get the DP for the first five nights?

No, linked reservations have the same dining plan all the way through. If you want different DDPs you need to have seperate reservations, preferrably a different room category or different resort.

Yes as soon as tey are linked MS can only do DP for the whole thing. You can have 2 reservations that are not linked in the same class of room but you run a small chance of having to move
