Split Stay? 1 night at POP and then OKW...

We've decided to go to WDW a day early so we are staying at POP for one night--gotta save those Sat. night points--and then transferring to OKW for the rest of our stay. Will POP transfer your luggage? Just wondering since this is our first time staying at a value resort. Last time we had a split stay we stayed at AKV and the luggage transfer was a breeze but that's a deluxe resort. Anyone done this? How did it go?

Yep, POP will tranfer the bags. Since you've already done it, you know how it works. Just be sure to have anything you may need with you...those bags may not get to you until late afternoon. That's usually not a big issue when moving to a DVC resort since we don't get into our villas until past 4 usually.

We just take a taxi from resort to resort. W/ our bags. We don't like having to wait for forever to get our bags. Also if you have never stayed at a Value, get ready for it. We did this last time just because we couldn't get anything on points.We thought it might be fun staying some were we have never stayed at. We stayed at Pop on a Wed Thurday and AKV on Fri,Sat Sun. Its a very different experiece. Something we will probably never do again. Value resort just wasn't for us.
