Split GF and BC for Christmas week?

Hi! We'll be in WDW week for 10 days/9 nights before and during the Christmas week. I had booked GF for the full 9 nights, but wondering now if I should split the stay with a few days in BC to be near MGM/Epcot.

Have anyone done this? Did you do BC first or GF first? I am thinking GF first only because we are planning to go to MVMCP. But will we be disappointed going from GF to BC? We have never stayed at either resorts and both look so incredibly beautiful. I heard that GF has the most beautiful Christmas deco. How does BC's Christmas deco measure up?

It's our first time in WDW for Christmas, and thanks to the code
we were able to stay in a deluxe resort. I just want everything to be perfect for DH, DD and DS.

Hi! We are going for 8 nights and doing just that! 11/30-12/04 at GF doing MVMCP 12/03 and 12/04-12/08 at the BC. Have never stayed at GF but always wanted to try it and since it's our 20th anniversary and with the great codes I went for it. Have stayed at BC several times and love it! Both locations can't be beat. I say go for it and you can have the best of MK & Epcot,MGM areas!!
