Splash Packs at the Water Parks

In two very long weeks we will finally be on vacation in our happy place. We plan to do Blizzard Beach on Thursday, July 25th and have a reservation for an umbrella. Is there only the one location for umbrellas in Blizzard Beach? Also, has anyone done the splash packs? If so, what is the select food and beverages? Just curious if you found the splash pack to be worth it?

I only saw one location when we got one. We put our stuff down but never sat there due to the out of the way and remote location of them. A very boring place to sit. Great for a nap maybe

There are a few locations, just like at TL. One spot is on the little “island” in the middle of the wave pool. I think there are 5 spots there, but once we had it to ourselves almost all day; it was fun!

That location has been converted to clam shells a few years ago. You can rent them: the fee is higher, although that guarantees you this particular spot.

Note that we've had conflicting information in the past regarding the ability to make advanced reservations for the clam-shells. Maybe they limit day-only to prevent no-shows, because of the limited availability (there are only four clam-shells, now)?
