Splash Mountain vs Expedition Everest

Personally, EE is more fun but Splash is more nostalgic/classic Disney magic.

That might be the first time I've heard Everest described as an extreme thrill ride haha. It's pretty mild as far as coasters go. But motion sickness is never fun.

Compared to all the other coasters at WDW, it would be.
Compared to others outside WDW, not even close, except most of those lack the theming that EE has.

Oh I completely agree, the theming on EE is excellent!! I just wouldn't classify it as an extreme thrill ride, or even a moderate thrill ride.

I go to WDW for the theming, (Universal is pretty dang good, too). But I don't expect thrill rides there.

I agree that its comparing apples and oranges. They are two of our favorite rides for different reasons. Many prefer the thrill of EE and the fact that you don't get wet on it. Many prefer the nostalgia of Splash Mountain and the fact that you do get wet on it. I also like that Splash is a longer ride - I don't mind the longer wait because there's more ride to enjoy.

Definitely Splash Mountain. I just tried EE last month for the first time and it was a bit to intense for me. I love that SM is still a thrill ride, but one that doesn't make me sick, lol.
