I'm wondering to refresh my brain, since I havent been to DLR since 05, how are you seated?

You are seated from front to back - I believe there are five "seats", and I am pretty sure you can either have your own, or add a child. If I remember correctly I rode in my own seat, but DD and DH sat in the same seat so he could hold onto her.

I didn't do this ride the last time but you can bet your bippee that I will do it this time even if I have to do it alone.:lmao:

The logs can hold 5 or 6. There are four single seats, then a larger seat in the very back that can hold one larger person, or an adult and a child sitting side by side.

The logs hold 6, I was just looking at our picture, and you are seated one infront of the other. No side by side seating like WDW

Quick question regarding the seating...

Is it rare that the Cm's will let you sit 4 adults together in a log? I know they have single rider lines, and nothing against you single riders.. but I would love to at least ride it once with just us 4 girls because I want to buy a picture. So would this even be possible? :rose:

I must say I don't think I ever got as wet as I did this time I went to Disneyland while riding Splash Mountain. The last time I rode it I was drenched had only one little dry spot on my shirt, everything else was wet including shorts and sneakers....Haha, maybe too much weight!

If you ask nicely and tell them you want to ride 4 because you want to buy a picture of just the 4 of you, they more then likely will let you.

For the same reason as you we asked the CM if we could do that and they said no problem, this was early morning before the crowds had really built though. Likewise if we reached the front of the queue and they tried to put us in the back four seats we asked to go to the front and they put us aside for the next log... You will get much wetter with 6 in the log though, so once you have your photo those extra riders make your ride a blast!

If you go for 4 on a log don't forget to space out down the log, it reduces the chance of having heads overlapping as you are very close together in the normal seating.

im glade some one up there said theres a seat for an adult to hold a child my son wants to go on it but im scared lol (what if he flys out) ya see i fill better now thinkign he will be held on to
