Can you still by any Splash Mountain merchandise in WDW? I want to pick something up for a friend next week as it’s their favourite attraction and they won’t be in WDW before it changes to Princess Tiana.

It sold out immediately after the refurb was announced and not sure if they brought anything else in.

I got a few pressed pennies of Splash Mountain and the characters not full on merchandise but a oood souvenir before the rethem.

When the park reopened back in July 2020 people were buying merchandise by the bagful until it was sold out…nothing new was made/restocked going forward

All PP are correct, there's nothing with splash on it. Even the ride exit gift shop is pretty bare. Just a few generic items and nothing specific to SM. You can find stuff for sale on ebay, mercari etc but expect absurd prices.

Geez. I held out assuming that Disney would monetize that stuff to DEATH like the 50th, and there’d be at least one or two more waves of stuff. I collect attraction shirts and I never got Splash because the one in the gift shop was always that same hideous tie-dyed one. Pfft.

I did find a metal mug at the Emporium that featured all four mountains across the parks - Splash, Thunder, Space, and Everest. Bought immediately because I knew I wouldn't find stuff like that again.
ETA: This was early September.

It's our family's favorite ride. My wife bought some things on eBay for our daughter for Christmas last year.

Considering some of the dynamics of why it is closing, Disney is not going to bring back merchandise. It would have been lots of work for short term profit and potentially bad PR. They are already designing and ordering the Tiana merchandise to sell.

Plenty of pirates bought up all the merchandise they had left and am sure there is plenty to purchase. Disney does very very little to stop pirates, it moved all the merchandise and they didn't have to deal with it. And even folks who have single items they bought for themselves will likely be selling as well.

I just bought this metal mug at Creations gift shop at epcot on Sunday! $19.99. I was shocked to find something with splash mountain on it.

I found that mug in November when I was in WDW. It’s my new favourite and a bit of Disney history.

Apparently the "Zip-it-dee-do-da" song itself is also gone from the park soundtrack.

I think more than anything else that has changed at Disney over the last 20 years I've been going this one hits me hardest. We all have our things. For me...that song is so strongly associated with joyful memories and magical times. Oh well.
