We have not been on Splash Mountain before. Why? Because my family does not like water rides, especially where you can get wet enough where part of you is soaked. (Soaked through your shirt, shorts from the water left on the seat of the previous ride, etc.) and then have to walk around the park that way. We'd rather go to a water park to get really wet. 
A friend of ours told me that we HAVE to do Splash Mountain because it is such a great ride, so...how wet do you really get?
