Hi folks,

Really looking for your views on the Poly Luau - is it worth it? Is the food ok? Is it a waste of a couple of hours which could be better spent elsewhere?

Look forward to your feedback. :thumbsup2

We have done the Spirit of Aloha a couple times and have always enjoyed it. The food has always been good, as has the service.

It was ok, we did it a year ago. I have no desire to go again though. Mickeys BBQ is much better.

We have a reservation at Spirit of Aloha for 8 pm on July 4th and plan on watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the beach. We've never been there before. I wouldn't base my decision on any one's opinion except my own.:goodvibes

Loved it lots of fun

I see it is your honeymoon

They will call you up to do the Hawii wedding dance

It's worth seeing once.

We find the food sort of bland and unexciting, but lots of folks seem to like it...

We did it once and enjoyed it, but it's not something I need to see again for awhile. The food was not bad. The second half of the show is better with the fire thrower. We had seats right in the front, which was great!

It was fair. I personally don't think it is worth 2 TS credits. The food is decent. The best part of the experience to me was the fire guy.

We liked it, the food was good and the show was very entertaining. Don't think I would go again for the next few trips, but maybe in a few years.

Have fun!!! It will be something you will always remeber!! You have to get someone to either video or take pics.! Enjoy!!

Does anyone have any pictures from the show? What type of food do they serve? Also how long is the dinner/show?

Thanks!

We did it once many many years ago and have no desire to go back. It was worth doing once.

To be completely fair, not many of the restaurants at WDW are "worth it". But the luau is good to me. Hoop Dee Doo is a better show if you don't like Polynesian culture, but I love that stuff (see my avatar).

The food is average, that's true, but the combo of the food/show is decent, but not great. It's definitely worth doing once. I have done it twice, but not in about 6 years.
