I booked the Spirit of Aloha show at the Poly since my kids have never been to this. My hubby and I went 12 years ago when we got married and didn't like it. Some say it is better now. Any opinions. I don't really want to waste 2 dinner vouches on this if it stinks. Be honest please!

We have never been to the luau because we go during rainy season and I am afraid it will be canceled at the last minute because of rain. I have also looked at the menu and it's not really that appealing to me. Have you guys tried the Hoop Dee Doo Review? We really like it a lot.

we enjoyed the Luau last September. Words of advice:

Go there on a empty stomach because the food just keeps coming!!!
The show is a little corny but towards the end it picks up. I would tell you my favorite part but that would spoil the show.
Is it worth 2 credits- I would say yes. You have to think of trying a new adventure now like we did last year. Now that we have tried the Luau Show we are moving on to Mickey's Backyard BBQ where they also charge 2 credits per person.

Almost forgot- I tried a Lapu Lapu last year- this is a tropical mixed drink in a pineapple, it was delicious but very pricey!!!
