Spirit "Big Front Seat"

Flying Spirit for the first time this week. Decided to upgrade to the "Big Front Seat" since it was only $18 per leg.

Question...do you get a drink or anything with that, or is it just a nicer seat?

Still need to pay if you want a drink. Or bring a large carry-on bag. Or check luggage. The $18 charge is just for the seat.

In case anyone is wondering, $18 is not a standard fee for the Big Front Seat. The price varies widely. $18 is on the very low end.

I think it's because MCI is a brand new city for Spirit, so the fares out of here are insanely low for the time being.
