Spinning stuff

OK, I know MousseDude had this problem when building his room. How come my stuff keeps rotating when I leave the room? I have a cool idea for a room, but my stuff keeps spinning, and it's just not working out.

I have had that problem also...Last few nights it looks like we had a few parties there...Wait we did...but actually it looks as if we trashed the place and I have to clean up the mess...

The same thing happens to my room. Sometimes an item will be missing and it will be back in the furniture list.

I have found it is not NEARLY as bad if you have someone come in your room, and then you exit while they are still in there. After that your most recent additions may be moved and/or gone. Granted, i still have a few random things moved and/or back in inventory, but on the whole the majority of the room is intact every time now.

Example. I added two hong kong lamps to my fortress "crate room". Now every time i go in one lamp is there but in a weird spot, and the other is back in inventory. But the rest of my room is fine.

All i can say is do the room, get 3 or 4 freinds in there, and then exit out real quick. Leave them in there for a few minutes and the try going back in. seems to have worked for me.

I dont know if this works but it kind of worked for me,

If you find your furniture twisted put it back into place and then leave and come back (make sure no one else is in) , if it is back in place then place another and leave and come back. I'm not sure if this works but give it a try.

And I thought DH CapeCAD was playing a mean trick on me the other night!

I had just bought a new room, took time to set up furniture, and then when I went back later, it looked as though someone ransacked it! Good thing I believed him when he said it was a bug in the system

same here! I was never in the room when this happens, but I have heard more than 1 person say they were in the room when the coffin teleporter started to spin!!

If that happened to me, I would not think I was alone!!

Maybe the Pirates Of The Carribean ghost has come to VMK to play!

When I put my teleporters back after the pin event, the next time I entered the room, one of them jumped across to the other side of the room! LOL!

I haven't had the furniture rearranged otherwise.

Maybe there are feng shui masters at work who WANT our stuff switched.
