Yes. Buzz's jet pack comes off to replace the batteries. You'll probably need a coin or a straight slot screwdriver to get it off. Look at the bottom of the jet pack, and you'll see where it opens.

We love these toys!! We have a Scorceror Mickey and Buzz. They have lasted over 2 years, and they are going strong! We put them away when we get home from Disney, and hand them out again the minute we get in the car to drive to Disney. I am very impressed that they have lasted this long.
I agree they last forever! I absolutely hate clutter, so ds's toys really have a pretty quick turnover rate - if they dont get played with they get donated. But BUZZ has been with us now for over 2.5 years, is played with a lot, and is still going strong. Its funny,I have on our video from the trip ds (23 months) begging for Buzz on Main Street and dh grumbling about paying $15 bucks for a peice of junk - we have MORE than gotten our money out of it!
