SPIDERS...Why did it have to be....SPIDERS

Hi Lori, thanks for joining us!! I have a Sony Cypershot and I love it. It's a point and shoot, because like you, I can't use those big expensive cameras that I have to manually focused, I too, am challenged:lmao:

How exciting that you get to do WDW and the cruise...one year I'll make it on one of those ships!! Will you be doing a TR?

Hi Queen!

Not sure whether I'll be doing a trip report. I'm awful when it comes to writing. I WAY over think what I want to say, and how to word it. It would take me forever!

Lori

Happy New Year---here's to another year of magical Disney memories!!! :wizard:

I hit post instead of preview on that last one!! :lmao: As you can see we had a lovely morning visiting AK...the last two pictures, Jasmine felt she was Stacey London from TLC's What Not To Wear....and couldn't resist taking those last two photos. The girl had what appeared to be crochetted leg warmers stitched to her flip flops....we were laughing so hard we could hardly see! We saw quite a few "what not to wear" moments, but Jasmine really felt this one needed captured on film for our Dis friends!

Happy New Year, Queen.

Somehow I missed your last update. I love the dessert Jasmine got at the Confectionary--it looks scruptious. And it's okay that you finished it for her...that's what us moms are for. ;)

You got some great shots of the parade; and in your latest post the baby elephant pictures are awesome.

I'm having a dilemna of when we are going for our trip next year (it's osted in my TR).

Aww, those are some cute (and kind of amusing!) pictures of the elephants!

And that last picture...yeah... I bet the way I dress walking around the theme parks might qualify me for What Not To Wear but I for sure don't dress like that! :confused3

I'm late to the game but I am wanting to catch up now. Looking forward to reading a mother daughter trip. I want to do that with my oldest. She loved Disney but the youngest well she is ok with it but is bothered with me talking about it all the time. Not to mention she is just way too moody for me.lol

Looks like you guys had a great day at AK and how awesome that you got to see devine:goodvibes

Too funny about that girls outfit....it sure doesn't look too comfortable for walking around a park all day

Can't wait for more

I got behind a few updates. I hope you & Jasmine had a great Christmas & a Happy New Year!
Looks like y'all had a great day in WS! You ran into everyone at Disney except me:guilty:.

I now wish that I took feet pictures on the PeopleMover .

Great AK pictures, I love leggings girl!!!!:rotfl:

great update!!!

I love all the AK pics! I'm glad you saw Devine. Not many people know of her but I think she's becoming more popular now than she was 2 years ago when I worked at AK!

Gotta love some of the crazy outfits that walk in and out of WDW!

Great photo story.

We meant to find Miss Devine last trip, but with the excitement of conquering Everest and going on safari, we forgot!

It is on the to do list this month, though.

As usual, lovely shots of you and Jasmine!

Hey Queen! I am finally all caught up!:)

I am embarrassed to say, but I actually read here for the 1st time tonite all about Jasmine's 18th birthday, and saw the photos from your special dinner that night. The minute you posted that photo of the delicious Billy Minner Pie I knew exactly where you went - the Keg!:)

How wonderful that you were able to meet up with Mary and her adorable daughters. They look absolutely smitten with Jas!:goodvibes That girl just radiates sunshine though, so it is not too hard to see why!

Queen - just wondering if Jas has ever given thought to applying to work at the Canadian Pavillion at Epcot through the college program. She would be an absolutely perfect ambassador for our country!;)

I know I said it before, but I just can't help but to say it again. You and Jas have such a special radiance about you - I just love reading all about your adventures. How lucky Jas is to have a mom who cares about her as much as you do, and how lucky you are to have such a special, marvelous daughter who obviously also thinks the world of her mom. I hope that one day when Katie is all grown up she and I can share some of the very special mom and daughter moments you and Jas seem to experience together - not just on this trip but in everyday life.

Looking forward to hearing all about the rest of your trip!:goodvibes

Hello again Queen- trust me I know what you mean- I often think of you and all of my friends here on the Dis!
Life has been a crazy ride this past year, but I have to say I am doing much, much better than I was last time we spoke. My DD is a college girl now living with her grandparents and my DS is 11 and it's just him and me living at home ... so hard to believe how quickly this last year has gone and how many changes we have seen. I am finally settled however and feeling much happier and content with my life. I am naturally missing Disney World unbelievably more than ever, and have been talking about a trip for spring break or after school is out in the summer, but who knows...

Anyway, I'm so excited to read about your trip. I'm so happy to see that you and Jasmine were able to go after all. You both look absolutely wonderful, and if I may say so Jasmine has the perfect look to be a Princess in the World being so photogenic and having such a positive aura about her. Just saying... :goodvibes

LOVING your TR-talk to you soon!

Carla

"What not to wear moments" :lmao: I love that. I love Stacey and Clinton and my life is filled with What Not to wear moments. I even hear them talking to me when I try clothes on in a dressing room.

You got some great AK pictures! Love them!

:rotfl: The way some folks dress for park touring kills me! I'm all about looking cute but doing so comfortably is so important. We have seen women in heels and skintight pants walking around there in JULY!!!! It's so hot in July! I can only imagine the blisters after a day in heels at Disney!I just don't get it! :confused3 My DS has been known to snap a few pictures of some ridiculously dressed people!:lmao:

Sorry it's a bit late but Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I had to laugh at that outfit. It amazes me to see the outfits some people wear to the parks.

Happy New Year, Queen.

Happy New Year to you too:goodvibes

It was scrumptious.....I can just taste it now!! Jasmine once again took the all the pictures on the safari...I told her from now on, she's in charge of the camera whenever we go on safari:lmao:

I posted a response on your TR...hope it helps:hug:

Thanks! I hear ya on that too, I don't understand how people wear super high heeled shoes in any park:confused3

So glad that you're here! Your "too moody for me" comment made me laugh out loud.....:rotfl2:

How fun that you saw DaVine! You got great pictures of her :thumbsup2

Thanks Dawn!!!

Looks like you guys had a great day at AK and how awesome that you got to see devine:goodvibes

We really did have a great day! She just kinda appeared in front of us ... it was one of those we were in the right place at the right time :thumbsup2

Wow.. That outfit is just.. interesting, I guess..:rotfl: People do pick crazy stuff for WDW. Nice AK pics!! I need to get the boys on the safari soon. We've only done that one once and Blakers fell asleep. :rotfl:
