Headed to Fort Wilderness (cabin) on 9/27-10/2! Third trip for my older 2 kids, and my one year old's first trip. :lovestruc Our first time staying at FW. So Excited!

We have 4 day park hoppers. We're planning on doing a character dinner on our arrival day. Thoughts on Chef Mickey's vs 1900 Park Fare? We'll be doing Tusker House breakfast later in the trip, so I'm leaning towards 1900 Park Fare since the characters are different.

How fun, baby’s first trip!

I can’t speak to dinner there, but I’ve had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare twice, most recently at the beginning of June, and we absolutely loved both experiences. The food is good and the characters are great.

Chef Mickey’s is iconic but I think it’s very loud and overstimulating and I’ve heard much more mixed things about the food there.

We have 6 days til universal and 11 days until WDW - there are 11 of us and it's mostly my main family.
My parents, me, younger sister and older sister and her family (husband & 5 kids).
My parents are the ones who will be doing their own thing mostly as they aren't rope droppers like the rest of us.

Trying to adjust expectations as I know we'll be moving slower with two toddlers.
I am laughing at this, because DH and I are the slow movers now! Gone are the zig zagging days of full speed! My sister-in-law and her wife will have scooters on full speed ahead, so we will only be hanging out at the pool and Typhoon Lagoon with them! Premier Pass is a must for us at MK!

18 days and counting.

This is the first Disney trip we are not making a million plans and reservations. It's also the 1st trip in 9 years without kids. Just my wife and I. In all the years I've been going to Disney we have never done Food and Wine. So that should be fun!!

We are staying at Pop and plan on spending most of 3 days in EPCOT. We have hoppers so a stop into HS may or may not happen. MK without my kids will feel wrong to me. Maybe. LOL I dunno Tron might be fun. We might even resort hop. The only ride I'd really "need" to ride at EPCOT is Guardians as we haven't ridden it yet, but other than that. And I have a feeling we are going to over indulge on food and wine booths so dinner reservations might be pointless. We'll take it as it comes!!!

The only reservations I did make are for Geo-82 on my birthday, Monday 9/8. Just an afternoon reservation, not for fireworks.

Should be fun!!
My husband and I had an amazing trip in May at Wilderness Lodge just the two of us. Enjoy every minute!!

Kylenne, You are quite the expert at all Disney! I have a few questions about Animal Kingdom; are you up for a message?

Hunger Games: Beak & Barrel Edition was a mixed bag for me last night, I did manage to snag one but unfortunately not opening day, I could only get one on Labor Day and I will need to shift my schedule. I'm supposed to be at Epcot that day for F&W and Extended Evening Hours. But I have alerts open and will keep checking.
