Spending the Day With Dr. Phil

Those who watch the Dr. Phil Show on a regular basis might know what I'm talking about.

Do you remember a couple weeks ago seeing a commercial with Dr. Phil mentioning that we have a chance to spend the day with him? Go behind the scenes, leaving from his driveway in the morning, etc.? Dr. Phil then mentioned to write to him explaining why you deserve to spend the day with him. (Hopefully this rings some bells.)

I wrote into the show thinking nothing of it, my letter was very short, (four lines to be exact.)
Anyway, I got a call from the Dr. Phil Staff last week! A nice woman from the Dr. Phil Staff left a message saying I'd be a good fit for the show, and asked that I send a photo of myself.

They received my photo, now I have to sit and wait for that call! I don't know how many people I'm up against, but to receive a call from the staff of Dr. Phil, and to have made it this far is really exciting!!

When I e-mailed my photo to a staff member of the Dr. Phil show, I wasn't told how long the picking process takes, but I will give you an update when I hear back from them.

Someone asked about my letter: I'll share my letter after I hear from the staff. Until then I'd rather not leak it out.
