have you thought about staying onsite at universal for one night, that way you can get front of the line access?!
You youngin! Yes, they were big about the end of 1988-1991 or 92. You would've been way to young to remember. They had their faces on everything. Posters, jewelry, trading cards, tshirts, dollas, action figures, board games, boxers, bedsheets, comforters, watches. I had all of that stuff! In fact, I still use the comforter as my beach blanket! It's bright pink and has their pictures on it so it's really easy to spot!
They did the Super Bowl halftime show when it was still sponsored by Disney. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QwkNVmWANc Take a look if you want, it's hysterical to see the way they were dressed!!

The Rangers have something similar to what the Broncos had except it's a casino night and you're supposed to get dressed up! I can only imagine what some ladies wear to that though.I haven't been lucky enough to get a ticket to that (very expensive!) but if I did I'd be hanging around the goalie all night.
He's dreamy lol
I watched part of the video!! I love that kind of stuff from "back in the day". The little flower people and clown-y ones were kinda creepy. I liked the castle thing though!! haha! YAY!
You got super cute stuff from Aero. I may have to use that code you posted. I need new jeans!!
I'm so jealous that your going to WWoHP!! That'll be amazing!! Although...I'm a HUGE fan of Jurassic Park too. Like HUGE fan.AHHH I'm just so excited!!
Sadly, Star Tours is supposed to still be closed for refurbishment. The boyfriend is sort of disappointed about this (since were going the same week) as he's a big Star Wars fan. I'm hoping TSM will be enough awesome to soothe the disappointment, though.
Also, ToT is probably my favorite ride in any park, ever.
Great DHS plans. BATB is amazing-- you have to make the boys compromise!! Honestly, my boyfriend really liked it (not that he'd admit it in public) and he's not a musical fan. It's just so well done-- I'm sure the whole group will like it.
Definitely have dinner at Pizza Planet--it's our favorite counter service in DHS! Great theming, good food.
I could have SWORN that I'd subbed to this...no wonder I was never seeing any updates!
Anyway, I've definitely subscribed now, so I'll go catch up and then be along for the ride!!
Day 5 sounds great! DHS is probably my least favorite park, but it has some of our favorite attractions (TSMM, ToT, RNRC). I just feel like there isn't a whole lot to do there. Madison loves Star Tours, but that will be closed on our Sept trip. We still need to take her on the Backlot Tour, Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast.
Hey Jenny!! Plans look greatSorry I was MIA for a while.
Haha--nope I didn't! I was so confused bc I was looking through all of the updated TRs and PTRs that I've subscribed to, and I never saw yours...![]()
But I'm officially all caught up!! Great plans so far!
First of all, we JUMPED on airfare when it was $250 per person rt. That's about as cheap as you're going to find it from Dallas to MCO. And if you actually want to fly out of OKC (which is way closer) add at least $100 to the price! I can't imagine living somewhere with such cheap airfare!
Your VB Hipster and your new shirts are SOO cute! They'll be perfect for Disney!
All of your individual park day plans sound great! I was gonna vote for Pizzafari at AK though. Michael and I LOVED this! I had the Italian sandwich, and it was amazing. It was a heated sub style sandwich. And Michael had the Pepperoni Pizza with a salad. We split both of them. It was one of our favorite CS restaurants.
Oh--and YAY for switching and getting free dining!! I feel like it's not Disney without TS restaurants!![]()
Ouch, that's unfortunate that your sister's friend bailed. I don't know why people would think they could just invite someone else without checking with the person who had invited them in the first place! You're right though-- the rooms maybe be small, but if you just use them to crash at night, the size doesn't matter!
Definitely don't think having one less person than on the ADR's will matter. They'll probably be relieved they have an extra seat to give to other parties!
