Well, Pirates has come and gone... but are we forgetting something?


TICMP and the Cursed Mate Costume were not released on opening weekend/in the new DL/WDW quest.

Now when would be the most opportune time to release these? The last stop has to be...

to coincide with the release of the Pirates DVD. Now, I don't know whether there will be a new Pirates Movement within VMK (Pirate Month II) or if they'll just slap the codes in the DVD booklet.

Just came to my mind and I don't want to bottle it up in there.

I think VMK has witnessed the attrocities that were reaked due to the insane rarity of the Jack Sparrow costume. There was a whole scripting bust because of Pirates code generators! All in all, I believe they have realized that this was a bad mistake and would not try to repeat it.

I don't think we ever figured that out..? I believe we were just making speculations on what it could be.




What about all of the Treasure Detector jazz??? Wasn't that supposed to coincide with Pirates?

OK, I'll bite. I speculate that there are some items that will never be released to the general VMK public and other items that may be released at either a very far off time or at a completely take us by surprise time. With Magic, I would have to think that it will be released, but I am not really buying the whole need for endless testing. Bugs did not stop the release of most items including the new Pirates game (which they appear to have fixed)
I think the DVD would be a good time I agree, but it is also possible they could add it as a pirate’s game prize at a later date.

I am shooting from memory but there is a list somewhere of items not really released Yellow treasure is an example yellow soldier was available from staff only. Surf table was never released, Jungle book chair (VMK_Lions Favorite) not released. Now with the water ride red/pink blizzard beach chairs, red/pink crates, Pier posts with the lantern and seagull. And I'm some how sure the list goes on.

I am sure of one thing here VMK is keeping it a secrete and if they are to continue to have the game they want to slowly release these items to keep it exciting and interesting. Which means it could be a year from now when the next pirates movie is released. Ponder that.

If you noticed he said that you have a chance to... Our luck of doing it would most likely be like winning a Sparrow Suit, and the same with even getting anything. Most of the time when the testers show us the magic they do not find anything at all..

This is way too good to be true but I'm wondering...

In Push's Trash Talk in the VMK Newsletter, Push says, "...So make sure you check out the Mountains Quest. It's an awesome quest and you'll get an amazing pin!"

Wouldn't it be totally fantastic if that "amazing pin" is Treasure Detector magic? But maybe Push's definition of amazing isn't as amazing as mine is.

Oh I wasn't saying I know it will be in the DVD. I was saying if it was in the DVD it would be a bonus, since i'm going to buy it anyway.

Who knows what they will do?

They seen before where people made a generator to pull out Narnia teleporter codes. And yet they still did an outside game with codes to get prizes including a highly desirable costume.
Did they really think that someone wouldn't come up with a generator to pull codes from POTC2 game? I knew it would happen. So did many others. But they still did it.

I won't speculate on when or where that costume will be available. As stated, there are so many things that have never been released in the game.
Magic Carpet anyone? It's been said it will be "released soon" for at least a year.

Not me. The "database" has both items listes separately under different item numbers. Which leads me to believe that they are different items.

My version of amazing and Push's are two very different things. For me, amazing is being able to make an English muffin pizza without burning the cheese.....Push likes pins, hmmmmm.
