Hi all,

I have a question I was hoping somebody can give me some help with. I will be at WDW the week after Thanksgiving. I have two options that week if I want to see spectromagic/fireworks. My choices are Monday or Wed of the week of 11/27 which I know will both be busy nights. My plan would be to go to MGM one of those days and hop over to MK to see the parade and fireworks at night. So which night do you guys think I should go? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.

Both nights will be really busy. Normally I would say Wed but it is the day before Thanksgiving and an EMH (at least right now). Maybe Monday would be better...or maybe they will add some nights for spectro. Did you look at the historical information from last year. You can get that right here on the DIS sight. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply but I will be there the week after Thanksgiving. I know both nights will still be very busy but was wondering if one night is better than the other. I'm thinking Monday is better since Wed is EMH fot the evening. I suspect it will be very busy.

Greeny, will be there the week after Thanksgiving also. I'm thinking that both Monday and Wednesday will be busy since MK is open till 8 those nights and not the other nights. I think we're going to shoot for Wed. night, but we're planning on spending the whole day at MK on Wednesday, so we'll just stake out a spot on the curb plenty early (probably an hour and a half ahead of time) - my fiance will sit on the curb while I shop, I imagine! I think, though, since it's after Thanksgiving, the crowds will just be less period. Sorry I wasn't much help, but I'll be interested to see what kind of response you get!

Sorry about that...I even quoted your post and still didn't get your week right! We watched spectro on the Monday after Thanksgiving in 03. I was very busy but we did not have a problem getting a spot in Frontierland. We probably got our spot about 30-40 mintues prior to the parade...then it was another 15 mintues for it to get to us. Well worth the wait. Good luck.

No problem about getting the date wrong, I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

brandt, I was there last year the week after thanksgiving and for the most part it was uncrowded. MGM during close to Fantasmic (and Osbourne Lights) was mobbed as was MK during Spectro nights. The rides were short waits, though.

Greeny, thanks for the crowd info - I was hoping that would be the case. I'm looking forward to squeezing as much in as we can in a fairly short time. Have a great trip!

We'll be there that week too. That Wed we are doing the MK too. I made 545 adr for the LTT. After dinner we will find a spot to watch Spectro. I hope crowds are manageable.
