DW & I have dinner ressies at Cal Grill next Sunday 9:20pm. Do you think it's crazy to catch the 8:00 Spectromagic at MK and then get to Cal Grill to watch Wishes @ 9:00 from the observation deck? Thinking it maybe a bit to "comando"

Not crazy at all... Spectro starts on Main Street by the fire station. If you watch it on Main street, somewhere between the fire station and the Expo Hall, (by the train station) you will be able to get right out the exit and to the monorail as soon as it is done (about 8:20-8:30). Since it still has to make it all the way through the park and back to the parade storage facility before they can start the fireworks, you should have enough time. Get on the resort monorail as soon as it is done, the Contemporary is the first stop... The only thing that will hold you up would be the hostess at the restaurant...if anything at all...

Thanks -- I think we'll give it a try. BTW -- Cirque is fantastic! Have seen La Nouba 4 times. Plan on seeing Quidam in Philly this Summer.

You could also just walk to the Contemporary, that might be quicker than trying to get the monorail. I think you can totally do this given that the parade starts on Main Street, giving you easy access for a quick getaway! Good luck!

In January my niece and I caught Spectro right by where the floats come out on Main Street. When the parade was over we stopped at the gift shop right by the main entrance, got my niece one of those light up princess thingamabobs and headed to the monorail. We got back to the Contemporary, got dinner at the Food & Fun Center and made it up to our room with time to spare and eat dinner before Wishes started. And trust me, with a 4 yr old, I wasn't rushing, we did it at a normal walking pace. So I think it's definitely do-able!!

Have fun! :)
