Spectromagic or MVMCP Parade?

If you had to pick one, which would it be? Please compare ONLY THE PARADES. Not taking into consideration the added cost of MVMCP or the added perks of MVMCP, etc.

Which parade is more of a...more of a "WOW!"

Spectromagic might have been a wow some years ago, but it's just another light bulb encrusted float parade to me. I prefer MVMCP's parade. It's so neat to see the nutcrackers marching and the characters in holiday mode. I am a little biased though.....we are major MVMCP fans. Maggie

Well I agree with you, we once saw it while they were taping it for T.V and it was so neat, I would rather see that one instead because its only around once a year!

Yes, but so are we. Unfortunately, we don't have the option of seeing Spectro just "anytime."

In our case, BOTH are only around once a year, so that kind of evens the playing field in that regard.

Without considering the other parts of MVMCP, I would say Spectro. You can see the MVMCP parade on TV.

I gotta go with MVMCP. Now, I LOVE Spectro, but we saw the MVMCP parade last year and we all loved it, PLUS it is very cool at night and the parade on TV is during the day, you can only see the night time version at the party. Alot of the floats and things are lit up, so it's sort of like Spectro, but for Christmas! We LOVED the toy soldiers and the float that went by that smelled like Gingerbread and it was just more of an "omph" than Spectro. I thought the MVMCP was very magical.......Spectro is too, but mix in the party atmosphere and the Santa float and the MVMCP wins out IMHO.

I haven's seen MVMCP yet, but I have high hopes for it. I was not that impressed by Spectro and don't know if I'll ever bother to see it again.

Guess I'm sentimental... MVMCP was my first Disney parade!! And will always be my favorite. Something about seeing all the princesses in thier fur trimmed capes and muffs!! Really takes me back to my childhood. I can't wait to see the marching soldiers & packages!

The only probaem with seeing the MVMCP on TV is that you have to put up with an endless stream of commentary by Regis and Kelly.

I didn't vote, as I've never seen the MVMCP in person... but I love love LOVE Spectro, especially the great main theme, "On This Magic Night" by John Debney.
