Spectromagic and Wishes after day at Typhoon Lagoon or will we be too tired?

I'm still tweaking my plan. I had planned on a 1/2 day at AK on on Tuesday (late June), then back to the resort until evening when we would head to MK for Spectro and Wishes. However, the next day, we want to be at MK for opening so we can do Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain first thing. Plus we are going to the Hoop-de-doo revue that evening.

Now I am thinking we will be too tired to get up that early after staying up late the night before. So, I am thinking of watching Spectro and Wishes on Monday after Typhoon Lagoon. Then still go to AK Tuesday, but maybe arrive a little later than 'opening'.

Any thoughts? My kids are 13 & 11 - most likely won't take a nap during the day to help recoup

Monday - Typhoon Lagoon during day, Spectro & Wishes at night
Tuesday - AK 1/2 day, evening at resort
Wednesday - MK at opening until whenever, Hoop-de-doo revue at night

I usually do a night at MK after a day at TL. I find TL relaxing. Your plan sounds great. Have fun!:D

We find we usually can't stay any longer than about 2 or 3 pm (if we get there at TL opening). We go back to resort, shower and have a rest. Then an early dinner and off to Spectro and Wishes. Absolutely no problem. Have a great time!

You will want to leave the water park (assuming you are there at opening) around 2:00 p.m. (before any rain might come--if you're going in the summer). We will plan our water park day and return to our resort--swim some more if there's no bad weather, shower, and head out later for one of the evening shows.

We also plan our PI night before the water park day so we can sleep in a bit (I'm talking 7:00 a.m.--no need to shower since you're going to head to a water park AND need to come back and do that later). Our kids are 16 and 13--they like to visit the Adventurer's Club and Comedy Club (and then we leave PI. . .not a really late night--10-ish, but the transportation back from DD can make it a late night). It seems to work well for us.

Your plan seems sane to me.

Save time for a nap when you get back from TL! The sun and water really take the zip out of your do-da!
