Spectro Men - face change?

Their hair changing color is very cool, however........... BRING BACK THE MASKS!
The make-up just looks like crap in the videos and pictures I have seen. I only hope it looks better live.

Yikes, they DO look like skeletons now! Definitely bring back the masks! But the hair is pretty cool...they can keep that.

I think the new hair with the old masks would be great..... It is really hard to see their faces on the video. I can't wait to see them in October!

Oh! You mean the Chuckies!

We always thought those glowing faces looked eerily like that creepy Chucky doll from the horror movies. We were at WDW Aug 19-15, and can confirm that indeed, the Chuckies are gone. I think I have pics of the new ones on the SM float (the one with the big sign that says SpectroMagic -- I'll post it when I get home). I found them much less disturbing, and the movements were less robotic and phrenetic than before.

I have mixed feelings about the parade too... I LOVE THE PARADE, but they do scare me ... I will probably have to see them in person before I make a judgement call.... good thing I don't have to wait very long!!!....

I always thought the masks were kinda weird. Actually, come to think of it, it might not have been the masks alone but the masks coupled with their odd way of moving....that was what was weird. Ironically, I found that I just couldn't look away! They are eerily enticing to look at.

From what I can see in the video, the painted faces seem to make it less creepy somehow.

Hmmm. Interesting. I have always thought the old glowing faces were a bit creepy, but not too bad. I think I will have to hold out judgement of these new ones until I see it for myself in a couple of weeks.

I always said I liked them before. One man's weird and creepy is another man's fun and funky.

I don't like this better. As usual, the "New and Improved" is not as good as the original. Just another little disappointment.

Well, I thought I would say I liked the old masks better. However, I have looked at both closely on you tube now and I think I like the new faces and hair better. They do create somewhat of a different feel, but I like it.

I agree. They definitely look more like Pierrot clowns now to me, too. I think this is better.

I found my picture from Aug 22. I agree they do resemble Pierrot clowns. Not creepy at all, IMHO.

That's what I was thinking. Strange. The masks creeped me out yet fascinated me at the same time. I don't think I liked them, but I couldn't look away from them, LOL. I don't care for the painted faces, but I'll get over it.
