Just a quick question for anyone who said these:

How many days were dedicated to that particular theme for instants on the cruise how many days do they have activities for Halloween and or Christmas??

Are the characters in their Halloween or Christmas attire for the whole week or is it a mix of their cruise line attire and only Halloween attire for those specific days??

Is there any difference between booking a longer Halloween cruise or a Christmas cruise for instance is there a difference between the 4 or 7 night?

I’m itching to use all this Disney credit that I have for cruises so please help me out I would greatly appreciate it!

Yes pirate night and they have themed activities every day, though they do vary. Characters will still appear in their usual garbs as well as the themed ones depending on what is happening at that time. Cookie decorating? Chip and Dale had their christmas scarves on. Christmas tree lightning ceremony in the artrium? Xmas sweaters. Photos during the day? "Regular" cruising outfits. Formal night = formal wear, pirate night = pirate wear. It's been longer since I've done a Halloween cruise but the same applied... and we're going on our first SW cruise this spring so I can't comment on those.

me too!!!! I just wanted to know what to pack!

Halloween they have a few eventsbthrough the week. Some are small - egbthe first night they tell the story of the pumpkin tree. Next night the pumpkin tree is decorated. There is a day dedicated to halloween where the characters are dressed in halloween clothes and they have trick or treating. That's the day they also host the fancy dress competitions etc.

For Cbristmas it's the same..... if I remember there are more xmas events across the week. Santa arrival/cookie decorating/meet santa/atrium party/deck party. Only thing I didn't like on the dream/fantasy is they change the See Ya Real Soon show to be holiday themed. I prefer the version with the DCL sailing away song.

For Christmas and Halloween cruises they are themed - so the lobby is decorated accordingly, characters dressed accordingly - and they have various special events (gingerbread house making, dance parties, etc) that celebrate those holidays going on during the whole cruise.

For SW day at sea, from what I have heard, it is just one day that is focused on Star Wars - special music playing, characters, a special show, different events, etc. I have not been on a SW cruise, but we did a Marvel and that was what happened -one whole day was Marvel related activities, special events, show, menus, etc. but the remaining days were normal.

Correct. It is SW DAY or Marvel DAY. Not themed for the whole week.

Exactly I was thinking like the other cruises it would be a day or so of just that theme and then normalcy.

mom teetering on a theme cruise or a normal 7 night one.

The Personal Navigators for Fantasy, Feb 22, 2020, Star Wars Day, 7N Eastern Caribbean appears to have Star Wars activities on 1 of 3 Sea Days.

The beauty of Christmas themed cruises is the ship‘s being decorated throughout the cruise. For me, Halloween is just the opposite - not a fan of cobwebs.

Same.... it was fun once or twice, but I'm not a big Halloween person. I do enjoy the harvesty overlay in the parks, and we'll go to the Halloween party every once in awhile, but somehow it hits different on the ships. I actually chose to avoid sailing the Wish in Sept/Oct as I'm just not feeling it anymore (we go to WDW around that time of year often as is for F&W and our anniversary).

Christmas though, I could take any/every year. Its a happy holiday for us and I enjoy it even when its over the top. :)

The above is all correct, but I did want to add that while there are no official SW activities on any day but the Star Wars day, and the slew of characters don’t come out until SW day, there is a bunch of decor in the lobby for the duration of the cruise. They step it up and add more on SW day. But from the moment we boarded we could take pics behind the big Star Wars Day at Sea cutout and in front of the Han Solo in carbonite and I think some other things. Star Wars day is SO packed with activities that it was nice that I had a chance to get lots of pics in front of the big Star Wars Day at Sea cutout on another day and not wait in line to do that on SW day. One other thing is there were more SW themed activities than usual on all days in the OC for the duration of the cruise, so my kids didn’t end up spending much time in the clubs on SW day because it was a lot of repeating activities they had fit in earlier in the week, leaving them free to do the SW day only activities on the rest of the ship that day.
