Special Viewing Areas for Fireworks

Does Disney or DVC offer any special viewing areas for the night parades or fireworks in any of the theme parks that you can request or make a reservation for?

Sometimes I see guest line up inside Epcot for the Illuminations fireworks celebrating in a rope off area by the water for the viewing of the fireworks at night by cast members.

depends on how much money you want to spend...special places for free, notsomuch.

what i can think of off the top of my head are:
1. a fireworks cruise (http://www.wdwinfo.com/recreation/fireworks.htm)
2. renting one of the pavilions in the world showcase for a private party. that would be a LOT of money, though.

there's also the Poly Beach or the California Grill viewing area, but those aren't "in" the parks, nor or they very private.

there may be other options, this is just what pops into my head....anybody else got anything??

hope this helps, and :welcome: to the DIS!

What is this aera for? how do you get it?

I know that when you book a package through Disney UK one of the 'perks' is access to a reserved area for fireworks viewing in Epcot and MK. Not sure where exactly this is, or why it's better than just picking your own spot, but hey-ho. (I'd be interested to hear from anyone that has used this).

If you mean the area by Italy than that is the area we were invited to watch Illuminations at as a bonus for taking the Undiscovered Futureworld tour.

Are you talking about the area closer to France/UK? I thought that was part of a dining package? I'm not really sure, but I know what you're talking about. I've wondered that too.

I know you can hold a desert party in various countries around the WS, usually wedding parties but I beleive if you have a large enough group you can do this ($$$)

The best way to get a good spot is to get there early and attempt to secure a clear view - can be tricky tho :thumbsup2

Yes, I'll go for fireworks cruise. We experienced it during our last trip. It's really wonderful and memorable. :thumbsup2
