When I say this I mean that little girls have the BBB. Are there anything that can be organized for the boys? My son is 3 and loves dressing up.

Thanks

PIRATE LEAGUE!!

It's really awesome, my DS did it when he was 5 and it was one of the BEST things we've ever done at Disney , and we've gone @ 15 times or so.

Trex cafe in Downtown Disney is really neat! It is like a rainforest cafe but with a dinosaur theme. They have build-a-dino (like build a bear). My son went crazy over this!! Check out some you tube videso of it.

Also there is a Lego store right beside Trex cafe. THey have everything Lego with a Lego playground and Lego "statues".

I don't have boys, but can attest to Pirates League for my two daughters last trip. They loved it. pirate:

Also, I have seen in the guide books that they have pirate boat rides where the kids stop at different marinas looking for clues (?) May want to check that out too. Don't remember the cost, could be pricey.

There is the "Pirate League" for boys. It is located by the Pirates of the Carribean ride. There are several packages just like at the BBB. I booked the "First Mate" package for my son who is 7 for our trip in June. You can call #407-939-2739 and book an appointment. The package I am getting includes a bandana, eye patch, ear ring, face paint, pirate name, and several other things. If you go to the main DisneyWorld page and type in "Pirates League " you can read all about it. Have a great trip :)

As both have been mentioned, I would agree with the Pirate league and the Pirate Cruises (although I think you have to be four on the boat?) The basic Pirate League package was somewere around $35, so not too bad, but I think anyone of any age would enjoy it! There is also the Barber shop on Main Street if he just wants to get a haircut at disney, but I have heard they can do different stuff too (colored mickey's on the back of your head ect.) Good luck!

The Pirate's League is fantastic! After purchasing pictures (they also go on your photopass, if you buy that) it was about $100 for my two boys back in December. They got to pick their facepaint, rolled the "Paradise Chest" to find their pirate name, and got their swords, sashes, medallion necklaces, earring, eyepatch, fake teeth and bandana. They even got this little black pouch for their treasure. We then met up later for the Pirate Parade, which was led by the many great hosts of the pirate league. They marched around adventureland singing yo ho yo ho, did the stage show with Jack Sparrow, posed for more pictures, and got more treasure. Really worth it.

How about a tour? The family magic tour is a lot of fun. It's basically an adventure scavenger hunt around MK. Great for families! Or if he's 8, you could take him on the Seas Aqua Tour where you swim in the tank at Epcot

If he's a Star Wars fan, there is Jedi Training at DS. No cost - just FCFS, so you'd want to be there for rope drop to get your assigned time.

DD loved Pirate League and there were plenty of boys there too.

I find myself in the same position. I'm starting to feel guilty about all the girl stuff I am planning (outfits, bows, pick a pearl, BBB, CRT, etc). I do have Pirate League ressies but I still feel like I need to do more for my 6yo son. I'm definitely going to make the most of the Star Wars stuff and Indiana Jones

You can also take him for a haircut, dye and fairy dusting at the barber shop at magic kingdom. They now take reservations. My son last month got green hair dye on top, with a red mickey head in the back.

I agree that you should do the Pirate's League. My son did this right after he turned three. He received his pirate name (Leonn Bridgekidd), a sword, an eye patch, a necklace, a tattoo, a baggie, his face painted, a bandana, a picture (use the code on it to add to your PhotoPass card). The price has gone down, so it may include less now.

We did the Pirates and Pals Voyage (cruise) right after that. There is no minimum number of people for this, since it is sold until the boat is filled. I did it with just my son and husband. About 45-50 other people will join you. That is an estimate. I did not count.

Before the cruise, you meet at the Contemporary where you get snacks (you can take some for later). Take some pictues with Captain Hook and Smee. Then you board and hear funny stories from your Captain, Patch. When the Magic Kingdom fireworks start, they stop the boat for you to watch. After the cruise, you go back to the dock to meet Peter Pan. The characters are more geared toward boys, but girls would love it too I bet.

Also, I have seen in the guide books that they have pirate boat rides where the kids stop at different marinas looking for clues (?) May want to check that out too. Don't remember the cost, could be pricey.

We are planning this for out next trip, since our DS was too young last trip. he will go on this by himself for about two hours. They will search for treasure and eat snacks. It only costs $36.21 with tax!

Our sons are going to do the Pirates League this time. It will be both's first time.

Last trip, my oldest son and I went on the Pirate Cruise. It was great and totally worth every penny. Our youngest son is scared of the fireworks, so it was a special treat for my oldest and I.

My son is signed up for the Pirates League, we are doing it the same day as my girls do BBB so they will all be dressed up together!:)

My kids generally like the same type things. They did the BBB together (they are young) and the Pirate cruise. Just a suggestion, get a prince costume and let him get the royal treatment too. I did this and it was a fun day for all! Plus they did the pirate cruise together too.
