Special Shows/Parades

Hello! My husband and I have booked a last-minute trip in August. This will be my first time in Disney and I'm looking for some advice on any special shows. I think there are fireworks and maybe a nightly parade? If so, what is the strategy for attending these? Are they seperate purchases? I'm so uninformed...I've been reading through all the discussions here which have been very helpful! Any advice is appreciated...thanks!

Disney's web site has a list of the parade and fireworks times--just look under park hours.

You can get the show times when you walk into the park.

The parades and shows inside the park are all part of your park admission.

Defintely catch some of the parades and shows. I didn't do either my first three trips---finally caught a couple my last trip and I plan to see ALL of them this trip.
