Special Room Requests at BLT

I'm at 23 days out and just tried calling BLT to request an even numbered, single digit Lake view room, and was told they can only process these requests 7-10 days in advance. Seems on previous trips I've been able to make requests much further out than that. Anyone else been told this before?

You shouldn't call BLT directly. Call either DVC or CRO to have your request added to your reservation, depending on who you make the reservation with. If you are renting points, you would have to have the owner call or email.

I'm of the rare variety paying rack rate, no DVC. Who would you recommend I call in this case? TIA.

Call CRO & have them make a notation to your reservation.

The room assigners usually don't get their hands on incoming res until about 1-2 weeks out (at most).
