Hi my husband and I are going to disney to celebrate our 20th wedding anv. we are taking our girls with us so we have to go a week after our actual wedding anv. date because we cant take the girls out of last week of school so I was wondering if we can still get any of the perks or celebrating this event even though we will not bet there on the actual date. Thanks for any advise you all can give me on this.

When you make your dining reservations be sure to have them note that you're celebrating your anniversary. Some places might give you a free dessert or something, but this doesn't happen at every place. It's sporadic.

It doesn't have to be on the specific day of celebration to wear the button. Expect nothing more than the service you already receive from CMs and any extras are just that, extra.

I'd suggest dropping your girls off, if they're in the age bracket, at one of the Kid's Clubs while you had a romantic dinner.

My SIL and BIL placed their two boys in the club at the Poly, then they took the monorail over to California Grill and after that enjoyed Magic Kingdom by themselves for a bit before picking them back up.

that sounds like a good Idea my older daughter is actually old enough to watch her sister in the evening while my husband and i go have a dinner out she is 16 and my younger daughter is 10 so they are old enuogh to stay by themselves for one nite we will be in florida for two weeks the first one is at my aunts timeshare condo and we plan on going out alone for dinner while we are there because the girls will have a full kitchen so they can have dinner in while we go out.

We've been there on our anniversary and have gotten some very nice cheerful greetings from cast members, and got good seats in Mexico for our anniversary lunch in Epcot. It was nice. We'll be there for our anniversary this year, and I'm looking forward to it!
