We are going to be at DW July 12-19. While we are there it will be my son's birthday. How can I find out if there is something special I can do for him either at the resort (CS) or a restaurant?
Let them know at check in that there will be a birthday. If you have any ressies at any of the restaurants while there, let them know also. They will do something special for him.
You can go to City Hall, I think it is, and get him a birthday button to wear. I've heard you get treated special with it. I took my son and my daughter on their birthday. We went to Downtown Disney and bought her a gift at World of Disney. The CM's found out that it was her birthday. They all signed a card to her and she received a birthday call from Goofy while we were in the store. We had a character lunch for her and she received a birthday card w/signatures from all of the characters there. Plus she received a small gift from Minnie. My son had his 13th birthday there. We ate at Chef Mickey's and had a great time. Just make sure everyone at Disney knows it's his birthday and he will have a very special birthday celebration.
Do a search, type in countdown timer then just follow the instructions... its very easy (trust me if I can do it anyone can) Have you thought of doing a birthday cruise? We are doing one for my DGS who will be 6. I have read rave reviews about the cruise on these boards, but you need to book one as soon as you can because they tend to fill up quickly
