That's a good one Janis. Reminds me of the ice hole parties back in Wisconsin.

Ha...this reminds me of an old joke...groaner alert here...

Do you know how to catch a Polar Bear?

First you cut a big hole in the ice, then you take a can of peas and spread it around the edge. You then run and hide behind a snow back and wait. (remember warning) When the polar bear comes to take a pea, you kick him in the icehole!

Thank you, thank you...I'll be here all week! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

How prophetic!
Saw this yesterday (with a few panes deleted)
Thought of Bob (the other one).

Hope you had a great day with ::MickeyMo !

............

Thanks for thinking of me Bob, us spring chickens gotta stick together :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Come to think of it we do have quite a flock of feathered brethern in this group. :grouphug: and you know me, I wouldn't even think of pointing fingers...expecially at nice guys with names like Scott and Bill...that would just be tacky...not a big fan of tacky...nope

Thanks again,

Bob (not that one, the other one)

P.S. gotta post more often, all of my favorte people are here :cool1:

I think of you guys all the time! :goodvibes

Sigh. Also, I am trying to get Tom to be more excited about this cruise---went to Kohls yesterday and got him 2 rather tasteful tropical-print shirts---we'll see if he'll wear them----I might have to promise not to take his picture---I also got him a Disney Pirates watch and I really couldn't resist getting a Disney Princess watch for myself---they were on sale:) We may be 41 but we are really kids at heartpirate:

LOL, he will wear them. Just keep showing him the picture of Bob, Scott, Bob, Peter in their grass skirts and GSF tshirts. He is going to have a great time. My Bob was skeptical at first also, until the met the gang!

woo hoo...notice someone is posting a bit more.

Now, where is that askageek fella???

Oh wait, I bet he is still outside shoveling.
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Evening / afternoon / morning to everyone.

It's been cold here again - at 8:00am this morning it was -4ºC again. It did warm up to freezing though:rotfl2:

My last day off work today :sad1: but with all the phonecalls and e-mails I've had I may as well have been in work,:headache:

Listening to the news at the moment there's a severe weather warning for the East Anglian region tonight so it's going to be cold again.

It doesn't help that a fog has come in from the sea.

I'm glad I'm at home tonight.

David

He keeps telling me to post certain things and I just say do it yourself LOL. He says that he can't remember how. He's at work today. Unfortunately he was able to get there (that's what he says). I was the one outside shoveling :sad2: This winter is insane!!!!

Hi Again! Found the leis! So sorry to hear about the terrible weather elsewhere---opened the windows today---it is in the 60s:) but it won't last long---I don't mind---I LOVE the cold and snow---but here in the mid-Atlantic---we never seem to get enough snow----I'm just going to have to retire to somewhere farther North----like Canada:)

Can I ask "youse guyz" (OK---so I grew up in NJ) your opinion? Since on this special cruise, Tom and I will be celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary---is it worth springing the extra money for the Romantic Escape package? It includes priority seating at Palo, a bottle of wine, a rain forest pass at the spa, a romantic gift, turn-down service, and champagne breakfast in bed. I think it runs around $300.00? Please let me know if anyone has purchased this and what you thought of it. THANKS:)

It's sunny + 71 here in NJ... and last weekend they said we would get some snow this weekend :confused3

Three books on organizing clutter!!!:lmao:

I'm laughing with you. I have so many, and I loved reading them all. I have a long way to go before I tame our clutter, but, thankfully for the sake of our families, I organized a lot of our stuff for the Christmas holiday, so we could enjoy living again, and set up our Christmas trees. Now, we've got to keep a handle on the clutter... tougher for me than I thought!

Now that I've rambled on about clutter... yes, we did the Romance package when we did the Panama Canal Cruise. We were celebrating our 10th anniversary and wanted to do something extra (like the cruise wasn't special enough!). It was very nice... Palos, rose petals, massages. We thought it was worth it for us. Of course, I wanted to save all of the rose petals, as any self respecting Pack Rat would... , but we went to the balcony and threw them bunch by bunch overboard and watched them flutter into the ocean.

Hi all! I am wishing everyone a Happy Presidents Day! Being Feds, Tom and I have the day off----a good day to tackle the basement---looking for the box of leis I'm bringing to give everyone as part of our FE gifty goody-bag:) I am also trying to find something extra-special from the Archives---yes, I really am an Archivist----by career----but a real PACKRAT by nature---in just the past 2 weeks, I purchased, not one, not two, but THREE books on organizing one's mess.

Those shirts will go Great with the grass skirt!

Thanks Scott! Do you know the date? If it's going to be 13K, I'd better start getting in better shape! I just ordered the Nike iPod Sports Kit... now, once I get it... the key is to use it! :lmao:

SCOTT + LYNN!!!

GREAT JOB! What wonderful work!!! Maybe you can get a part time job as a CM down at WDW working on the new AKL Villas!!!

I think the date is 10/25 and it will be a 13K, with no 6.5 option. It will be interesting to see what the fee will be.

Lucky. It was on the cool side here. Sunny. Windy. So we didn't stay out as long as would have liked. Still, we did get Belle out for a bit.
All in all, it was a busy day. Enjoyable holiday.

Everyone have a great week.
