Well, luckily I missed most of it. I decided not to go online that night because I had a small feeling - I had a difficult time with booking the Med excursions - so since we have done the Mexican ports already - I'd planned on nothing for Aruba and those ports. Was planning on going just locally and maybe hiring a local at port. (Plus - if I did it all I wouldn't have any fun when I'm with you all)
I did however, go on the following morning and those fishes they keep talking about made an appearance. I was able to book but it got dropped so I went in later in the day and got the leftovers. Since I love history - got the historic one in town. Guess there's not many history lovers on this cruise. Wonder if we got any rum lovers? Which of course leads me to wonder if there will be any rum left over for you guys on this cruise??????:
So in a roundabout way - to answer your question, yes there was some trouble - I only booked 1 port and so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience for me. I, however, suspect that come May 16th or 17th, there will be another occurrance of this and you'll get to experience it on your own. Scuttlebut seems to be that "Disney's outsourcing company" is trying to find a solution but you know big corporations, just be glad that you got Aruba booked. As for the Mexican ports - if your doing the canopy adventure - great - but I'm going to stick to a local as I have had some awesome adventures going with the locals. I just make sure they bring me back 1-2 or more hrs before boarding time. Plus I call someone at home and tell them who I'm with and what time I'm expected back. If I don't call to say I'm done - they are instructed to get the ball rolling. This isn't meant to

anyone - I just believe in being super cautious and try to foresee any problems. Overall, most ports know that tourist is their lifeline - they can't afford to have anything happen to one. In fact, they'll go out of their way to make sure you have a grand old time and will ask you pass the word on that they are good folks. This has happened to me regardless of the ports - Mexico, Caribbean, etc.
Sorry - I get so excited talking that I go off on a tangent. Hoep that helped. Now off I must go - DH is sick as a dog - his fault for playing poker so many days in a row - DD is doing homework and the girls (read dogs) are panting in my face - they want a walk)

all! Please leave some rum for future trips.
