Taking of in-laws, I finally got them to book their room at the Radisson for the night before we sail - At last !!!! :cool1:

That's one less thing to worry about.

Happy Sunday Everyone.. :wizard:
Beautiful day here at the MouseHouse... 69º, sunny... it doesn't get much better than this.... except on Castaway Cay of course!! :beach:

Scott: Love the hidden Mickey...

:bday: Happy Birthday Sharon! :bday:

Good Evening All.
Late start to the day. Big game last night.:yay: :yay: :yay:
Been behind all day. Actually been behind for the last few days.
Time to catch up on the thread.

There has been talk about what night will be what.
As much as I like formal night, I would prefer to skip it this time.
Do need a pirate night though.pirate: Maybe when we leave Nassau?

Which brings us to (and maybe DCL is reading the thread)
I would hope that DCL books an excursion to Atlantis.
I know that you can arrange this on your own, but I think if DCL did it, maybe Atlantis would make it a bit more special.

Also, on Castaway Cay day, on the EB Med Repo, we had a Buffett Tribute night. The DJ played any Buffett song we wanted. Any.:thumbsup2
Got to do FINS a couple of times and sang Karaoke once.:sad2:
Be nice if they did that again.

Reading time.

Thanks everybody for the birthday wishes, cards and gifts. Don't know what I did to deserve such great friends but I sure appreciate all of you.

Cheryl put together an intimate party for me with ribeyes on the grill, champagne, gifts and a rootbeer float cake. I guess we will see the kids and grandkids next weekend at Disney to finish off the celebration.

Thanks again, I'll see you in the funny papers.

Man Bob, you really made out.
All I had was cheeseburgers, beer and jello-shots at my 50th.

Next weekend sounds like fun.:thumbsup2

we're a chatty bunch....what can I say!!!!!!

I think before the 11 night Southern Caribbean cruise we hit 20,000 posts!!!!!!

Not quite Kid.
It was 300 posts shy of 20K right before the big lockdown.
The WB Panama has 20k+.

I think if we really try, we could make 20k before 9/1

Dry Wall was finsished and textured today, added a couple of our signature hidden Mickey's to the texturing.

Now to paint, tile, and fixtures, and trim out, hang a door, install cabinets.... it seems like it will never end.

When we redo the kitchen, I know who to call.:lmao:

Looking good Scott.

Sorry for being so chatty.
People who know me, know I am not that way.:rolleyes1

Today and tomorrow are days that REALLY make me look forward to the cruise. Cold Canadian air coming thru right now. 10° and falling.
May be -10 by morning.

Cold Canadian air? Canada Geese? Golly can you send anything good down?
Oh yeah, I forgot. Canadian bacon, Norm MacDonald and Buttertarts.

But slowly we are getting things around.
Got two nights at the Animal Kingdom Villas. Savanah view.
Air arrangements next.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great week.

Summer of 09 might work, I hope to have an open calander by then.

Actually, I think I am looking at spring/summer 08.

Summer of 09 have some sort of significance?
I have a few years left. Not a lot. Just more than 1.

Thank-you for the Birthday wishes. :flower3: Lots of family and food.Scott and Lynn - love your hidden Mickey !!! It is my hidden vice. I love observing the subtle touches of Disney...sharon

Oh my gosh! I've just refound you all! Thank you for Happy Birthday to Bruce :) We just saw that today too - THANK YOU! (He turned 60 - on the ski slopes of Sunday River Maine!) We retire March 1st :) :) :)

I love the hidden Mickey in the painting! We are currently re-doing our kitchen, and I may need to add one of those.

Okay, just had to fess up to a completely ridiculous error I made. Even though I made the ressies for this cruise and I have been researching (honest), for some insane reason I thought we were going to be on the Wonder????

I just finished telling my dh how it was a shame we're cruising on the Wonder since the Magic has a great young teen area our boys would love. Then I am reading on this thread and I see...Magic. I checked my DU ressie, and sure enough we will be on the Magic - ooops!

So now I feel even more like a cruise newbie since it has taken me months just to figure out which ship I am on

BTW in my defense, I think it is because the Wonder does the shorter cruises that I just sorta assumed that was the ship for this cruise, so it really was knowledge that caused my confusion. Yeah, knowledge, that is my story :rotfl2:

OK this really confused me, because my paperwork from DVC (we are sailing on points) says we are sailing on the Wonder:confused3 We got really worried at that point, so Scott looked up our reservation on the DCL website, and they have us sailing. It did not occur to me before, but with all those doing a back to back from the PC repo, it would have to be the Magic! So I will also have to change all my information that I typed up about our trip to change Wonder to Magic.

We are with you, lol. We will be skipping formal night whether they have it or not. Just not lugging all those heavy clothes with us this time around.

I agree Cheryl... I think we should make it a tropical formal night... you know.. complete with lei's etc...... start our own trend. :thumbsup2 It's not like they are going to ban us from the dining room! I know Joe will vote to leave the tux at home!

Hey everyone. Just had a question for the DCL experts. We booked this cruise last Feb and of course paid our deposit at that time. I was just thinking about when our final payment was due and requested a confirmation. When I got the new confirmation, I noticed that our overall cruise fare has gone up a few hundred dollars. We haven't made any changes to the original booking. DCL doesn't seem to have an answer. Did this happen to anyone else that booked a 2008 cruise last year?:confused3

I agree with youse tooos, as we are flying in from CA and the DL1/2. It would eb nice not to have to have soo much stuff you just wear once. If it were a longer cruise that would be different.

FORMAL Night at TOPSIDERS!!!!!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
