Special 9/1/08 Cruise Continued - Part 3

I'm getting a little concerned over here, too! I've been watching this storm and pretty much wrote it off b/c it was supposed to go straight out west and possibly impact Mexico. I can't believe how strong it got and where they have it going today!! I don't know enough about hurricanes, but what I don't get is why the models say this....

and then all the cone graphs comes straight at us! I sure hope the models with the lines are the more correct version!! The DIS Theme Park board has lotsa posts on Gustav and a song we should all start singing....

I do like the computer models much gooder.

As someone else said I don't care if we never leave Port Canaveral, at least we'll be on the boat!!! Heck, we could do racetracks around the ocean.

Yeah apparently I started a war by insinuating the storm should go left and got folks singing, but in all honestly I'll offer up my own backyard right here in La for it to party in if it leaves CC alone!

between all the dis people that will be on board and the Steve and Deb cruise people, I can not think of a better bunch I would want to ride out a storm with.

So long as we can board and disembarkas planned, I'm good.

Magic is at the last locks but sitting still...said they are in the middle of an electrical storm and have closed the pools.

I am talking to Laura, but since the lightning and all started we have not talked much....dont want her to attract the bolts!! I do think the ships are starting to move thru tho....but it may be a while before we see the Magic.
