Just got back from a wonderful trip to WDW. It was a great memory that I will cherish forever.

My grandon's first visit to meet Mickey Mouse and my youngest son proposed to his gf in front of that beautiful Holiday lit castle.

Scott - met a couple on a boat ride to DTD who were on the Transatlantic and altho I can't remember their names I do remember them telling me that they were teachers. Really nice people and I got to relive some of our past cruise with stories of fun - oh yea, they were from Calif and staying at OKW.

The end of the trip was not a great memory - got rear-ended in Atlanta on the way home and still hurting tonite from it - can't tell if it's my RSD hurting from the cold weather and snow that's coming or the accident.

I have been very lucky with all my driving travels not to be involved in any accidents til I had company (dh retired) on my long drive. Guess fate was catching up with me this trip.

All in all a lot of good memories.

We are dog sitting my sister's dog (formerly my mom's dog) Buddy. Last night I saw an ad on TV that you can take your pets to PetSmart this weekend for a picture with Santa. Only cost $8.95 and $5.00 goes to help homeless pets :goodvibes :goodvibes

Here is Buddy's picture:

Peter, Thanks for the links and pictures. That is a nice bank of gas....Wish I had something like that to fill our tanks. Just have a little portable compressor, 80cf fill takes about 20 min, it gets the job done. Very interesting stuff in the link. ANgies Candies sound like a neat vessel. :thumbsup2

No Santa pup pictures here, Buddy and Belle seem to have been fixated on something could it have been a treat????:lmao:

Mary glad your trip was great, and sorry about the crash, hope ya feel better soon.

Looking forward to January WDW trip as we will be staying at AKV, should be nice. I read that DVC members staying at DVC resorts get free Internet, KEWL!!

Christmas is comming together here, had two parties over the weekend, hope it warms up today as I would like to get a run in, work continues on the Wyoming Adventures Club house, I should get that club number when we are there this next trip. One more room to frame, and have some of the electrical started.

Looking forward to the day after Christmas sales to get more lights for the house. :santa:

Slow cooking some pork for Carnitas tonight.

Later Kiddies "it's a jungle out there"

I know I live in the Great White North and having a white Christmas is usually a given.....but......

I HATE SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are supposed to leave tomorrow morning to drive to WDW and now I don't know if we'll be able to leave on time.....we got "socked" with 18 inches of snow so far today :scared1: ....and it is still snowing....we have many cars stuck on our street so there is no way a plow could get down our street....

 I LOVE SNOW!
We got about 11 inches last night. The storm that went thru here is now in Canada right over Elaine's house.
Belle doesn't think too much of it. Can't find a place to do business. Had to do a bit of shoveling for her. :dogdance:

Elaine, just relax. Take you time. I mean, you have a whole month in Florida.

Good evening all

Hope the weekend went well for everyone.

Other than dealing with almost a foot of snow, things here are good.
Almost done with the christmas shopping.
Finished up the christmas cards.
Sent out the last of the package mailings.
Watched some good (and no so good) football games and basketball.
Even found a couple of hours to "ring the bell" at the mall. Our parrothead club does this every year. Lots of fun, get to meet lots of people and even listen to Buffett's "Christmas Island" CD.

Just relaxing tonight. "Special" hot chocolate.:goodvibes

Hope everyone has a great week.

Sounds like an awesome trip. Sorry to hear about the accident. Hope you feel better soon!

Peter-thanks for the WICKED cd's. Love the music! Also, thanks for throwing in Celine Dion. It's great. BTW-how do I bold a title for a thread?

So did 18 inches of snow stop us from leaving for WDW....no way....we are almost there.....currently in Brunswick GA.....so tomorrow morning we'll be at WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since I'm not sure if I'll be logging on before Christmas.....

Mom and I would like to wish our Disney Family a very Merry Christmas and a "Magical" New Year.....

we can't wait 'til September!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Linda...love the tree.....we are taking a very small tree with us to WDW....I'll be sure to take some pictures.....

I am so excited. I received a tracking number for my son's passport and an email that states it has been processed. I think that means it was approved. I am assuming it would say denied if they were not going to approve it.

This is the best Christmas present I could ever give him!

I am so happy that we will get to join our DIS boards friends after all!!!!

 :grouphug: :cheer2:

That's great news!!! So glad you both are going to be able to join us still :goodvibes :goodvibes

I got a Christmas card today that said "can't wait to see ya in September" but it wasn't signed by anyone! It must be this cruise group because this is my only September cruise planned. Who could it be???? :confused3 :confused3

Sorry Bob, I couldn't resist :lmao: :lmao:
