TXCrew Our kids will be DD8, DS15 & DS17 at cruise time. We sailed the Wonder this past September and had a blast! We're totally hooked and can't wait to cruise again!

Just booked 12 days in Grand Cayman...!
That'll hold me over for a while! :thumbsup2

Wow how awesome! I went SCUBA diving in the Cayman Islands many years ago B.C. (before children!) :lmao:

We hit the water all the time -- Hey! We live in Wisconsin :lmao: :lmao:

We have three kayaks. Started with a double and then got two singles. It's better this way :goodvibes

 All your kayak talk reminded me of a kayaking trip I took in High School. I was in a double kayak with my best friend. We were in the water a lot.:scared1: We never got the hang of it. It was a sight. Paddle, paddle, paddle, SPLASH! Paddle, paddle, paddle, SPLASH! :lmao: I can laugh about it now, but at the time it was frustrating. I am sure a single kayak would have been more enjoyable. Needless to say, we were still friends afterward. But, I haven't been in a kayak since. I see people smoothly gliding along in them. What is the trick?

:cool1: DH added us to the reservation this past weekend. Yea! One good thing about having to pay an extra deposit for the suite, our cruise is now half paid for!:cool1: Now, we can concentrate on paying off our December 2007 cruise. Has anyone read the book "Disney War"? DH and I are both in the process of reading it. We are sharing the book. He has one bookmark and I have another. So far, it is really "interesting". I highly recommend it!:thumbsup2

We're getting the kids certified, too. My 10 YO daughter has started her classes but she won't be going on this trip. I'm hoping to do about 40 dives on this trip. :cool1:

We haven't hit the river since we lived in Wisconsin (canoeing and tubing).

Lot's of fun!

Man...was I ever a bad tablemate last September....another tidbit of information I did not know....Cheryl...is there anything else I might need to know that I might have missed?????

Who will you be diving with, we reallylike the east end and the west end, and stay off of the 7 Mile beach area. Cayman Diving Lodge and Dive Tech to be specific.

I caved in and booked Mom and I on the cruise....I thought I had some time to convince her that September is an okay time to cruise....

We were able to get our same cat 9 stateroom as we had on the May Repo 2005 cruise....

Oh yeah......Regina.....can you please release Dory now that we're booked....

DS15 would LOVE to get certified. Unfortunately, we live on the west coast of FL where the diving is less than good. I'd rather he wait until he's a little older so he can actually travel and dive. I haven't gone for many many years so I'd probably need more than a refresher course. I did more diving when I lived in NJ (and was single) than I ever have since moving to Florida. Go figure! :confused3 :rotfl:
