We watched the primtime show last night, sad but interesting!
Ealine, Welcome aboard, number 62 on the list![]()
We stay on the West End at Spanish Bay. I really love the place, not fancy but friendly and a great dive operation on site. I have done several of the Dive Tech dives ( Tarpon Alley is one of my all time favorite dives!), I also loved Bonnies Arch and some of the walls. We're staying 12 days this year, renting a SUV to haul our gear around and doing as many sites as we can. I've got my advanced and nitrox certs.
Rainy, gray and dismal here today![]()
Man...was I ever a bad tablemate last September....another tidbit of information I did not know....Cheryl...is there anything else I might need to know that I might have missed?????

I caved in and booked Mom and I on the cruise....I thought I had some time to convince her that September is an okay time to cruise....
We were able to get our same cat 9 stateroom as we had on the May Repo 2005 cruise....
Oh yeah......Regina.....can you please release Dory now that we're booked....
BE-YOU-TI-FUL evening here tonight. First Wi-fi night of the year.
Was in the upper 70's today. Clear evening. Slight cresent of the moon.
Lots of vapor trails at sunset was neat.
Really nice first day of spring. Ready for the repo!
It's good to be on page 100 even if I don't make the cruise.
All your kayak talk reminded me of a kayaking trip I took in High School. I was in a double kayak with my best friend. We were in the water a lot.
We never got the hang of it. It was a sight. Paddle, paddle, paddle, SPLASH! Paddle, paddle, paddle, SPLASH!
I can laugh about it now, but at the time it was frustrating. I am sure a single kayak would have been more enjoyable.
Needless to say, we were still friends afterward. But, I haven't been in a kayak since. I see people smoothly gliding along in them. What is the trick?

DS15 would LOVE to get certified. Unfortunately, we live on the west coast of FL where the diving is less than good. I'd rather he wait until he's a little older so he can actually travel and dive. I haven't gone for many many years so I'd probably need more than a refresher course. I did more diving when I lived in NJ (and was single) than I ever have since moving to Florida. Go figure!![]()

We hit the water all the time -- Hey! We live in Wisconsin![]()

We have three kayaks. Started with a double and then got two singles. It's better this way![]()
we are big kayakers here too in upstate NY. We kayak on the Hudson river and in the Adirondacks. We have a local kayak club that goes out several times a week mornings and evenings, in fact we spent New Years eve with the group. lots of fun.
