For those asking about staying onboard with a room change for the next cruise, when I did this I was told to bring my luggage to Guest Services. They held it until my room was ready.

I called today and told them that late dining wasn't going to work for us. The rep came back on the phone after placing me on hold and told me that we, as well as the other 3 cabins linked to my ressie, were now assigned to main dining. Give them a call tomorrow and see what you can find out.

By the way, someone told me once that Disney doesn't open up all of their dining at once. This allows for folks who book later in the game to get first dining. I don't know if this is accurate or not. The only thing I do know for sure is that last week we were assigned 2nd dinner and online stated that all of 1st was booked. Today, the rep said otherwise. Hopefully, you'll get lucky as well.

I just got my quote back today. I had requested main dining and according to the quote it says I have it. I think if you call you should have no problems changing it to first seating.

To all that I have missed. On Sunday morning my husband said he wanted to go to disney SUNDAY AFTERNOON! So in one day we packed and drove down, we are now back but it was a fun short trip with a LONG drive! I'm glad to see more DCL newbies! We are in the same boat. And we can't wait!!!

We are one of the fortunate ones with the $49 points. We own at OKW.
We have used them for cruises in the past. Won't on the 14 day eastern med repo.
I don't think they ever discount on the points for the cruise. So once they post the points chart for a cruise, I think it stays that way.
Where on the 14 day, they gave us a reduced rate for onboard booking and then at final payment time, it was reduced again.

I wish I bought back then. I looked on my honeymoon(1997) and didn't buy until 2005 (I think).

That was great that it was reduced again! They do let DVC members call withind 3 days of arriving home to get a discount on a future cruise. If I remeber it was anywhere from 14-20 points each.

That is interesting about the rebooking discount for DVC points did you do a cash/points ressie? or just points??
