I still haven't said anything to Hazel yet about the 5 day cruise, I finally was able to discuss it with my mom today so she knows what is going on. Still haven't decided when I'm planning on letting Hazel in on the secret.

Man Andy, you are great about keeping secrets. I just can't do it when it comes to vacations.

That was great that it was reduced again! They do let DVC members call withind 3 days of arriving home to get a discount on a future cruise. If I remeber it was anywhere from 14-20 points each.




I am sure that we will be changing also. I only have 10 GTY for EB and I have a cat 10 room already for this one. it would be nice if DCL did some
for us. But I am not counting on it. But it would be great not to have to pack up and keeping the same stateroom host or hostess.

I'm looking forward to switching rooms though. I have a guarantee category 7 on the PC cruise. I'd love to knock on the door of the Roy when we get into port and say "excuse me can I bring my luggage in here please?"

We are one of the fortunate ones with the $49 points. We own at OKW.
We have used them for cruises in the past. Won't on the 14 day eastern med repo.
I don't think they ever discount on the points for the cruise. So once they post the points chart for a cruise, I think it stays that way.
Where on the 14 day, they gave us a reduced rate for onboard booking and then at final payment time, it was reduced again.

Bob DVC does discount the points
If you rebook within 3 days of your departure date.
you will receive a dvc reboooking discount.
Jenn and I did this after our 11 night.
rebooked our 4 night on the Wonder (kids Cruise)
got 15 points off per person.
for the first 2 people in the cabin.
since we had 2 cabins we saved 60 points.

You can do this even if you are not Crusing on points!!!!! to Begin with.

We paid cash for the 11 night not points.
