speaking of food only, best buffet?

Okay, what buffet has the best food besides Boma? Include charter meals only if you are judging the food only. Any breakfast, lunch, or dinner would be great. I have only eaten at Boma so far and it's great but I have been there 2 times already. We are not big eaters so the quality for us is better than the quanity. Thanks! Or should we stick to non buffets for better food?

Honestly, we are not big dinner buffet eaters...except for Bomas, which we think is excellent. I'm not a big fan of 1900 Park Fare...and we've never eaten at Chef Mickey's for dinner, which gets mixed reviews.
But, we do love breakfast buffets....and overall, our favorite is Chef Mickey's. Maybe others have slightly better food, but for atmosphere and overall "Disney-ness", that gets our top vote!
(Crystal Palace breakfast a very close second....love the pick-your-own omlettes.)

The only buffet that we have lovvvvveed food wise was breakfast at spoodles. But alas they dont have a buffet any more.

For quality of food, we really enjoyed Cape May for dinner.

For value, Trail's End.

For atmosphere and fun, Chef Mickey's.

I completely forgot about the seafood buffet at Cape may for dinner. YES! thumbs up on that one.

I guess from the lack of a lot of replies, I am beginning to think if you want quality food, buffets are not the way to go. I guess it is like that here at home and I was just hoping Disney would be different. I would rather eat a little good food than a lot of okay food like Ponderosa. I guess I am turning into a food snob ! lol

We have been to Trails End, Chef Mickey's (dinner), CP (lunch), Park Faire (dinner), Cinderella's Castle (breakfast), Princess Storybook Breakfast, and Nine Dragons (unlimited lunch sampler- no longer offered, but I think they have something similar). Foodwise, I enjoyed Nine Dragons (but not quite a buffet), because I love chinese food. 1900 Park Faire came in a close second because of the variety and tastiness of the food. I loved the fresh cooked pasta station!

Our favorite breakfest and lunch buffet is FRESH, located at the WDW Dolphin. Everything is made fresh!

Boma! Boma! Boma!

Hands down, for food quality at a buffet, it's gotta be Boma. Sure we like the Biergarten, and even the Crystal Palace, but found the food at 1900 Park Fare rather mediocre. Actually, in terms of atmosphere, we weren't all that fond of Boma, as we found it very loud; but the food itself was outstanding!

A buffet.............I have only been to a few, but I would say dinner at Cape May. I have yet to go to Boma.

Of all you can eat dinners, I liked the quality of food the best at Whispering Canyon. Many people disagree, but I loved it all, from the biscuits to the chicken...the (I'm talking about the all you can eat skillet). I love the atmosphere of the Wilderness Lodge and the kids thought the restaurant was great fun...we did too.

DW and I thought the breakfast buffet at Fresh was very good. As mentioned before, it's at the Dolphin.

For breakfast buffets I really like the food at Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare. (YC Galley has a very nice buffet also, as does Boma)

For dinner I love love love Cape May Cafe. Also really enjoyed 1900 Park Fare. (I am one of the few who strongly disliked Boma's dinner buffet)

Well, if you exclude Boma (one of the best meals on property buffet or not), I like Crystal Palace Breakfast and Biergarten lunch. H&V had a pretty good lunch too. I hated Chef Mickey (dinner) and 1900 (dinner).

We have had good results at the Crystal Palace and we have heard very good stories about 1900 Park Fare. We went to Cape May the last time we were down and it was OK, but it was not as good as Crystal Palace and even though its not a true buffet try Ohana's the food is great.
