Spain coming to Epcot; Monsters Inc. Coaster coming to Hollywood Studios

HAHA, you guys crack me up!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I'd love to see a Russian pavilion the architecture could be really cool!

Whoops, yes...my brain has it right, but my fingers got it backwards when I typed it. "Dwarves" is Tolkien's preferred plural, based on the Middle English I believe (he was a linguist), although modern English eventually favored "dwarfs" for most contemporary usage except for mythical uses, where "dwarves" is typically used.

Ah ok :thumbsup2

...and americans are the only ones dumb enough to eat the burgers at the Liberty Inn:lmao:

crazy world:banana:

:lmao:

Sadly, we had to eat one of those double burgers (extra bun, water to drink) on a super budget trip in 2005. Thank God those days are over!

I agree - no chance Spain can afford anything. They probably can't even afford a trip to visit Epcot right now, much less fund a pavillion.

Just spoke with someone Spain Portugul, and Brazil are out. I am preety sure the new country will be Belgium.

Who agrees with me that Disney should be making more pixar related attractions? So far Toy Story Mania, the monsters Inc laugh floor, and it's tough to be a bug have all been great hits.

A couple of nifty Russia Pavilion concepts in case Zuzu (or anyone else) is interested...

Who likes the idea of incorporating more Disney/Pixar related attractions?
I think the monsters Inc ride will be a great edition to Hollywood Studios. I think Disney parks should be making several new pixar attractions. Disney fans definently love the movies, so incorporating Pixar will be a smart move by Disney if you ask me.

Belgian beer here I come!!! :) What's the chances that a country could be built in Epcot with funding from a company headquartered in the country? Just a thought... And only thinking that so the country is off the hook for the bill since there are really only a few financially sound countries in the world... I'm not sure of any big countries for Belgum, Spain, Portugal, or Brazil, but it could work...

Not anywhere but DHS or DAK Pixar has no place in MK or Epcot.

Not sure why people think Spain's financial situation has any bearing on whether a Spain pavilion gets built it not - or Portugal, or any other country for that matter.

Morocco is the only pavilion paid for and operated by the government of the country it represents.

Norway's government did provide some funds, but it was primarily funded by companies/corporations, like most of the rest of the pavilions.

And if they are waffling over which country, then the plans are nowhere near shovel-ready.
