Either Steve jobs or Steve wazniak (sp?) nobody knows for sure.

From what I have read, he is no one special but a nod to those people in the '80s that were trying to come up with a home computer. I don't know if that is actually true or not, but like I said before it is something I read once here on the DIS.

I would say it's Steve Wozniak. Some others would say Steve Jobs. Woz was the geek.

Some say Wozniak, because of the glasses.

I'm thinking Jobs, due to his being a major (if not THE major) stockholder at the time.

Maybe they meant for it to be ambiguous.

On a related note- I know there have been lots of posts asking for the best Disney fact/guide books- this is hands down my favorite. So much fun stuff in it that makes for even more magical moments noticing things around the parks.

I like to consider myself a Spaceship Earth expert. That is my favorite ride and I try to know everything possible about it. Like others have mentioned, there isn't an official name released on who that likeness is of, however, the only official response has been (like stated earlier) that the person is just someone that represents the time period and is not someone in particular. However, I personally think it looks awfully close to what Jobs and Woz looked like, although that was a popular look back then.

He may officially be an amalgam, but he looks a lot like Wozniak to me.
