Spaceship Earth - how do you get a good picture?

I always get a horrible picture when riding Spaceship Earth. If you get even decent pictures, what do you recommend? I tried looking directly at the camera yesterday, and this is the result. Eek!

LOL I don't think there is such a thing! I love when my DH gets a picture and I'm headless! It's always so fun to see the horrible results.

There really is no way to guarantee a good picture. The system is need of some help. We just embrace the weird variations it gives us.

I don’t think we ever got “good” pictures, even when the system was new! They were simply something to giggle at.

Guessing this is something they will update next time they do a SE refurbishment. The technology has improved so much since the last system was implemented.

Way back in the day, it seemed to work fairly reliably. I haven't gotten a good one in years. I have no idea why it got worse, but it certainly seems to have.

I usually end up with a similar looking picture. I can never figure out why - the person I ride with ends up with a "decent" photo.

I look like that when I leave my baseball cap on. I would rather be headless than have my hair looking like I am a mad scientist.

The light is so low, the pics often blur. Here's a decent one I did last year.

Agreed, we strive for horrible pictures, they make the animation so darn funny!

I don't think it's ever been good. I remember back when this version first opened someone in the chat for a podcast I was listening to being recorded live (not the dis unplugged another one) someone was complaining about how they had "tried to erase his New York Yankees hat" they also complained about how someone said something about not liking the Yankees and because they were a cast member they shouldn't have said something rude about his team.
