SPACESHIP EARTH and "postcard"

Has anyone recently ridden SPACESHIP EARTH and afterward had the "postcard" from the ride sent to your e-mail? If so, what was the sender address? Was it WDW or the name of a sponsor??

My "postcard" hasn't shown up yet (it's been a week), but while at WDW, DH went through my e-mail and deleted some stuff that he called junk mail. I'm afraid he might have inadvertently deleted my MEMORY!!

I'm afraid I deleted the e-mail - but it did come to my junk mail and I use Yahoo.

My subject line says "Greetings from the Future". I love to get these. I'm not sure about Yahoo, but on AOL I would look under recently deleted mail or old mail.

And it could take awhile -- we sent ourselves goofy pictures from the Imagination pavilion and they took a few weeks to arrive.

It will take a few weeks to a month to arrive. At first it annoyed me that it took so long, but of course its on purpose - it's coming from the future and its fun to relive your vacation a few weeks later instead of thinking "oh, here's that picture I took on Spaceship Earth yesterday."

I had one picture take like 4 months from there...I had given up all hope on it coming and then all of a sudden it showed up...in triplicate. Ah well, at least it made it.

It was in our mailbox when we returned in our room.

This delay is why we always do a 'Redneck Ride Photo' just in case. We simply snap a photo of the monitor with the postcard/ride photo on it. If you never receive the postcard, at least you have a record of the event, even if the picture quality is mediocre.

I just checked my saved emails and this is exactly what ours read ...

Ours took about a week to be sent (last month).

Mine and my husband's only took a few hours to go through. I got the text for the received email while still at the park that day. This was last week.
