Space shuttle press conference

CNN has announced there will be a press conference at 11:30am EST. Whether or not it'll actually happen is anyone's guess, but I'll be tuned in and watching.

The NASA press conference has been delayed. There is supposed to be a White House press conference any moment now.

I've been flipping back and forth between CNN and MSNBC and, so far, no press conference.

Although CNN just said something about a roof fire in East TX that might have been caused by falling parts.

Pieces are all over our great state. I pray nobody was hurt. There all calls from all over Texas on our local news- people talking about debris they see. Texas is a big place. It will take so long to gather the debris. I hope that there are no long term effects to people or animals. What an awful tragedy.

NASA Spokesman Sean O'Keefe is on his way to Kennedy Space Center according to CNN. They should have a press conference once he gets there.

They've now declared that Sean O'Keefe will have a press conference at noon.

Let's just hope everyone heeds the news reports and keeps their hands off the debris.

I'm amazed by all of the reports pouring in of sounds and debris from all over East Texas. It seems that this situation will truly be very widely scattered. I hope too that no one else was injured.
