I just learned that there are TWO rides in Space Mountain. One train is called Alpha, while the other is named Omega.

I've only beeon SM once, how do I know which I was on? I thinkg we went right, or was it left?

In July 2003, if you decided to wait in the stand-by line, you rode on the left side. If you went through the fastpass line, you rode on the right side. I don't know if they change the sides of the fastpass line, but you will have to wait in the stand-by line to do one side and get a fastpass for the other side.

:earsgirl:

It really doesn't matter...

A couple of years ago my husband and I were doing a baby swap. He rode first and I met him at the exit. When I went back upstairs to ride there was no one else in line on the left side(this was an e-ride night) they didn't have enough people coming through so they were going to close down the left side and just run the right. I said something to the CM's about not wanting to ride by myself, so they jumped in the car with me. We laughed thru the whole ride it was so fun. I asked them about which side was better, I was told that both sides are mirror images of each other, so basically they are the same. They commented that is funny to hear people talk about which side they like better, and how one side has this curve and twist..... They said they just listen and laugh.

Could they feel different based on directional turn of the curve and hence your body lean/visual experience?

thanks
