I like the rainforest. It had three different steam rooms, aromatherapy showers, and "hot" beds. It was so soothing and relaxing! Wish we would have done it more often and that the spa would have been open earlier and later to use it.
This past January my family and I went on our 3rd cruise w-Disney. I promised myself that I would do all the things I never got around to on past cruises (This included the spa and Palo). Palo was wonderful - I regret missing that on past cruises. The spa was a different story. I had a facial/massage and then a manicure. The first part was good except during the facial she kept asking me what products I used at home - trying to sell me their products. The manicure was the worst I've ever had! She didn't care about my nails only about the lotions she was trying to sell me. Then I was dumb enough to go the the make-up seminar and it was the same thing - just a hard sell on their products - no make-up advise at all!! It is not relaxing to be put in that situation. Next time I think I'll just get a massage.
I had never had a pedicure until our last cruise. On Saturday night my sister and i both went for their pedicure, which included a foot/calf message, plus some pretty color! It was quite nice (I don't know about actual foot message).
I did not find the rainforest crowded - sometimes the heated loungers were all taken, but not usually, and there are always the sauna and steam rooms, and I rarely had any problem getting those either.
I would like a class on the showers I never did get the hang of them!
I also enjoy the seaweed wrap and the ionthermie treatment. Would not do the hydrotherapy again (I've probably got a little too much fat, and found I spent the whole time trying to stay steady as the currents lifted me off the bottom) not very relaxing for me....
