I hope this is the right place to post this question, but we're leaving next month and DS (6 months) is allergic to milk, but loves soy yogurt. Does anyone know if this is available around WDW?

In February, my stayed at Pop Century. Among our many allergies is milk. I had spoken with chef Dan by phone before we arrived because I knew we'd be eating many meals at the resort (my ASD daughter can't handle full days at parks). Part way through our trip, he came out to take our order (and chat like he usually would; he's such a nice guy ) and told me that he had just been to some kind of food show (he gave more details but for the life of me I can't remember) where they had some foods he picked up hoping we would enjoy them. Among them were Silk SOY yogurt and Kinnikinnick muffins (gluten is another of our issues and these muffins are gluten and milk free). I was in heaven. He said that depending on the response to these he may try to get them in regularly. CHEF DAN ROCKS!!!
I guess this was my long way of saying ask what's available. If you know that you'll be eating multiple meals at the same location, talk to the chef ahead of time to find out what options are available. They chefs at WDW really are the best and they work their butts off trying to make everybody's trips special.
I had Brenda with Special Diets make note of the fact that I wished to speak with specific chefs (including the one at my resort). They called when they had a slow time and this also allowed the resort's restaurant to determine who would be the best person to call. This also meant that they called at what is the most optimal amount of lead time before your arrival. I think Chef Dan first called about 2 or 3 weeks before our trip. Chefs for restaurants started calling I think as far out as a month before our trip.
Please let me know what they do carry at POFQ as that's where we'll be in December. I'll be making a request for a chef to call me anyway as we'll most likely eat lunch there most days, but it would be nice to hear what others find out as well.
wanted to say ditto on talking w/ Brenda through special diets....my youngest DD has dairy, egg and wheat intolerances...(we have a better control of things now than 6 mo ago) but she emailed me lists of places where you can find certian foods and what standard foods have dairy etc in them too.
her info is in a sticky on the main disABILITIES disney page...the FAQ thread scroll down to food
also just another thought we did this...a grocery delievery from garden grocer. I was able to get soy yogurt and milk plus a few other things for the room.
You have to order enough to make the fee worth it, but it was great!
Thanks to everyone for their helpful posts. I've already heard back from Brenda and the POFQ chefs - they are going to have soy yogurt there for us during our trip dates.
