Can anyone tell me what WDW currently has in the light up characters that comes with a souvenier cup? Thanks!

Yes, they are still there. I don't think they are at every restaurant though.

We have Tink, Hook, Buzz, Ariel, and Lightening McQueen at home from different trips.

Our last trip to WDW was the last holiday season and at that time it was Ariel (new Fantasyland and DL's new ride) and Lightning McQueen (DL's carsland). We were at DL this summer and at that time, it was still Ariel and Lightning McQueen there, so I bet it was still those same ones at WDW too. I don't know if anything has changed since ( I don't think they change them out that often - seems like Tink and Hook were around for a couple of years- then Hook changed to Buzz for a while, but Tink was still there for another year or so until Ariel took her place).

We got Ariel and Buzz from Rose & Crown. The waitress also brought out a flashing ice cube for my older ds because she felt bad that he didn't have anything. She was so sweet.

CN I ask what they look like. Any pics. My daughter would love Ariel.

We always rinse out the cups and lids and keep them too. DD drinks out of them at home. I wasn't sure they would survive the dishwasher, but we run them through and they last quite a while. I think we even have one that is a few years old.

As for the glow clips, it seems like we have been able to open one of the Tinks and switch the batteries out when they went dead too, but I'm not positive on that.

That's our dining review!!! :). I never finished it...

You can purchase the light-up novelty without buying the drink if you ask. They're about $4 I think.

:goodvibes Well, you did a great job as far as you got! You were a beautiful bride! I got to it by doing a google image search for the ariel light up cup at disneyworld, but when I linked to it, I wound up reading your whole thread. Loved it ! :)

Good to know. DS still plays with his Captain Hook light up that we got on our Dec cruise and I was planning to get him another, but he won't drink the sweet punch.
